Vehicle Rental Terms

Before booking a vehicle, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with the basic MVP Rent A Car rental terms. Below you can find information about the required documentation, rental duration, vehicle pickup and return, vehicle use, insurance, and travel outside Montenegro.

General Rental Terms

  • Minimum driver age: 21 years
  • The driver must have held a valid driving licence for at least 2 years
  • When picking up the vehicle, identification with a valid ID card or passport is required
  • The minimum rental period is 1 day (24 hours)
  • The vehicle pickup and return times should be the same
  • If the vehicle is not returned within the agreed period, MVP Rent A Car reserves the right to charge an additional rental day

Required Documentation

When picking up the vehicle, you must present a valid driving licence and an ID card or passport.

The information in the documents must match the details of the person under whose name the vehicle reservation was made.

Vehicle Pickup

The vehicle is picked up at the time agreed upon during the reservation process.

MVP Rent A Car also offers free vehicle pickup at Podgorica Airport, subject to a previously confirmed reservation.

When picking up the vehicle, we recommend inspecting its condition together with an MVP Rent A Car representative and becoming familiar with its basic features.

Vehicle Return

The vehicle must be returned at the agreed time and location.

If you need to extend the rental period, you must contact MVP Rent A Car before the previously agreed rental period expires.

If the vehicle is returned after the agreed rental period has expired, MVP Rent A Car reserves the right to charge an additional rental day.

Use of the Rental Vehicle

The rented vehicle must be used responsibly and in accordance with applicable traffic regulations.

The vehicle must not be driven by a person who has not previously been approved as a driver, nor should it be used in a way that may cause damage to the vehicle or endanger the safety of passengers or other road users.

Insurance and Additional Options

Additional options are available when making a reservation, including comprehensive insurance (CASCO) and a GPS navigation system.

Travelling Outside Montenegro

If you plan to travel outside Montenegro with a rental vehicle, you must notify us before booking and check the conditions and documentation required for crossing the border.
